OTS - Seven digit late interest paid by Bridgestone, number one tyre manufacturer of the world

Budapest, 23 December, 2017 (OTS) - Having been fed up by the
continuous late payments of its invoices Inter Lingua ltd. previous
subcontractor of Bridgestone Tatabánya (BSHM) plant started a legal
procedure against the company. Its aim was to receive compensation
and late interest due to the late payments.
During this legal procedure BSHM's bank account got encashed:

then the company recently had to pay a seven digit compensation
as late interest.
Last year a new MD joined the Hungarian plant. She was expected
to increase the financial discipline at the company but
unfortunately it did not happen so. The late payments still occur
regularly. It might be due to the fact that four accounting
managers have left the company in the recent years. In order to
increase the financial discipline at BSHM Inter Lingua ltd. wants
to unite the other subcontractors of BSHM which suffer from late
payments by Bridgestone and start a joint legal procedure against
the tyre manufacturer. They intend to make Bridgestone pay their
invoices in due time.
Inter Lingua Ltd put the question: 'Wouldn't it be easier to
pay the invoices in time?
