Hamburg, 3 March, 2017 (APA/OTS) - DERMALOGs "Face Matching" is the
fastest software for biometric Face Matching on the market. The
speed is at 100 million matches per second on a single blade.
Accompanied by a low failure rate the confirmed working speed is
ahead of the competition.
DERMALOG already holds the world record in "Fingerprint
Matching". Nevertheless, the Hamburg-based market leader has more
to offer than the development of the fastest software for
Fingerprint Matching. Meanwhile DERMALOG offers hard- and software
solutions for multi-biometric applications. In addition to
fingerprints, the developers focus is on recognisable
characteristics of the human iris as well as the face.
DERMALOG founder and managing director Günther Mull explains
his biometric innovation: "The "Face Matching" enables to match
face pictures against each other or against large databases. With
our software, it is possible to match a group with the size of the
Chinese population, around 1.4 billion people, within 14 seconds to
find the most likely match."
Face Matching systems can be used for many applications.
Günther Mull: "To improve security at Border Control, all types of
monitoring systems, criminal investigation, unlocking smartphones
and generally for portable use all over the world."
Günther Mull is convinced of the practicality of his "Face
Matching": "Our product can be integrated into existing solutions,
is contactless, easy to use and is compatible with many image
formats. This shows a part of DERMALOGs spectrum as
multi-biometrics-supplier and system integrator." An additional
module serves to defend against manipulations and attempts of
forgery by the use of photographs, masks or videos.
